Mid-Century Modern with an Island Flair
The Mid-Century Modern design is familiar to many homeowners and it’s still one of the hottest design aesthetics in Hawaii. Think natural tones and colors, wood-grains mixed with white, and minimal clutter. Almost all have an open concept kitchen with high ceilings, but that doesn’t mean you can’t incorporate this design for a galley type kitchen. The material choices and colors are the important factors in the end.
Natural with Clean Lines
The above photo shows our custom cabinetry in a flat-panel. You won’t see too many traditional shaker with this aesthetic. Flat-panel doors remain classic and modern. The vertical grain orientation of the wood veneer creates a pleasing aesthetic. The homeowner chose white Cafe appliances from the GE brand with customizable hardware like these rose-gold accents.
